He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryan Crawford Hixson and Ola Genevieve Hixson; his wife Lillian Ann Newbury; and his siblings, Donna (Bob Hamilton) and Jim Hixson.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Craig, Bob Jr. of Fort Collins, Cathy Heiney (Joe) of Fort Collins, Steve (Beth) of Fort Collins and Kelly Hixson of Wellington; and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer Heiney, Bradley Hixson (Allison) of Fort Collins and Rod Hixson (Sarah) of Wellington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends.
