He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Willhite (Michel); his mother Jean Willhite; his children, Carrie Shafer (Pat), Dee Ann Torrez (Louie), Kelly Sitts (Larry), Sherrie Brownfield, Jackie Simmons and Johnnie Lyons (JoAnn); his sisters, Doris Richards, Patsy Ocoy (Boyce) and Janis Shoemaker; his son-in-law Tom Brownfield; his father Howard Willhite; his sibling Karena Jane; his granddaughter Karen Janet Schale; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Richards Sr. and Ron Shoemaker. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.
