With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Laverne Rice of Holly, Colorado, who passed away on April 24, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luther Rice and Ollie Bell Hightower; his siblings, Melvin Rice (Pauline), Earl Rice (Lois), Louise DuVall (Curtis) and Joyce Sturdy (Roy); and his siblings-in-law, Naomi Rice and Maynard Brannon.

He is survived by: his wife Sybol Brannon of Holly; and his brother J. D. Rice of Holly. He is also survived by his wife had no children but his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Lamar Area Hospice.
