He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Villarreal and Ynes Diaz Villarreal; his wife Lilia "Lillian" Garcia Villarreal; his sons, Paulino Jr. and Estevan Villarreal; and his son-in-law Dana Shinker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Phyllis Neibauer of Payson, AZ and Roman Villarreal (Hortencia) of Garden City, KS; and his children, Leonard Villarreal (Debra), Lisa Villarreal Shinker, Yolanda Villarreal, Nancy Villarreal, Michael Villarreal (Amanda) and Nicole Garcia (Avery). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
