He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Nuss and Mollie Nuss (Spahn); his brother Milton; his wife Dorothy Hoffman (Dicki) of Wind Crest; and his son Rick Leslie.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry (Kathy) and Craig (Chris); his grandchildren, Alex, Ashley Nuss and Mike Liedtke (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Katie and Ryan Liedtke.
