(Highlands Ranch, Colorado), born in Coin, Iowa, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne L. Whitmore and Faye T. Whitmore (Cheshire); his brothers, Lloyd, Floyd, Wayne and Keith; and his siblings-in-law, Betty and Jim Mathew.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Marie; his children, Kathryn Faye Whitmore Barten (Tom), Robert William Whitmore (Molly) and Peter James Whitmore (Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, Martin Philip Nieves (Alison), Monica Faye Hirsch (Cory), William Robert Whitmore (Kristen), Kaeli Marie Gretter (Blair), Grace Elizabeth Dahm (Nick), Kyle Robert Whitmore, Katherine Elise Whitmore and Graelyn Elizabeth Whitmore. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
