He is survived by: his wife Beth Olsen; his siblings, Barbara Ledford of Arvada and Eric of Haines; his children, Jon Erik (Jean) of Craig, Sig of Hayden and Kristen Miller (Chris) of Hayden; his grandson Jon Wayne (Amanda) of Hayden; his stepsons, Conner and Kale Johnson; his grandsons, Evan (Katryna) of Craig and Erik (Jade); his great grandchild Luke of Craig; his grandsons, Cole Miller and Kent Miller of Hayden; his brother-in-law Mark Olsen (Lois); his brother Olin Sundberg; and his brother-in-law Paul Ledford. He is also survived by three nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to the Hayden Congregational Church, Northwest Colorado Health Hospice, or to any charity of the donor's choice.
