It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merl Koch (Haxtun, Colorado), who passed away on December 8, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis A. Koch and Reka Fischer Koch; and his siblings, Oletha Ensminger and Damon Koch. He is survived by: his cousin Patty; his child Merl; his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Beverly (Dean Anderson) of Maryville, Missouri, Gary (Jeni Koch) of Haxtun, Laurie (Arlan Scholl) of Holyoke and Joanie (Mark Groshans) of Holyoke; his grandchildren, Ryan Anderson (Ashley), Torrey Brown, Karin Williamson (Levi), Kayte Koch, Leslie Jordan (Matt) and Kaylee Woicik (Jacob); his nephew Rick Ensminger; and his niece Margo Sauder. He is also survived by 8 great grandsons and 3 great granddaughters.
