He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Matson and Irene Matson (Isaac); his brothers-in-law, Alan Meguire and Dean Shackelford; and his sisters, Angela and Alvira.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Gette (Kizer); his stepsons, Larry Gette (Becky) and Gary Gette (Angel); and his siblings, Neioma Meguire of Texas, Wyona Shackelford of Trenton, Joe Matson (Thelma) of Trenton and Gloria Bricker (Ron) of Grand Junction, Colorado. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
