She was predeceased by : her parents, Pete Roberts and Mary Roberts; and her sister JoAnn Rich. She is survived by : her children, James Thayer, Jr. of Las Animas, Sandra Kim Reeves of Olney Springs, Michael Scott Ham of Westcliffe and Jeffrey Lee Ham of Denver; and her husband Cliff Stuart. She is also survived by her children, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great- great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lamar City Animal Shelter, 8551 County Rd. EE.5, Lamar, CO 81052 , a cause Shirley felt strongly about.
