It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Smith of Hasty, Colorado, born in Caddoa, Colorado, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Smith and Nora E. Smith; his siblings, George, LeRoy, Mahlon, Howard, Helen, Gladys, Marie and Beulah; his sons, Robert Smith (Bobby) and Howard Arthur Smith; his children-in-law, Vern Kuhn and Kristi Smith; his grandchildren, Dalton Kerr, Mahlon Smith, Jovie Kuhn Butler and Tracy Ingraham; and his great grandchild Chelsea Dickinson.
He is survived by: his children, Roxana Darnell (Freddie) of Las Animas, Connie Harris (Richard) of Las Animas, Anita Kuhn of Cheraw, Sherri Kerr of Lamar, Crystal Martinez (John) of Colorado Springs, Lori Palmer (Brian) of Pueblo West, Bret Smith (Buffy) of Hasty, Tammy Ingraham (Marvin) of Salado, Shannon Smith of Colorado Springs, Brian Smith of Vilas, Julie Thomas (Joe) of Las Animas and Will Smith (Caby) of Las Animas, Colorado. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
