With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy L Spurgeon of Hasty, Colorado, born in Limon, Colorado, who passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Lightcap and Josie Lightcap (Jones); her husband Ira "Bud" Spurgeon; her son Shawn Ray Spurgeon; her great grandchildren, Darcy Dawn Spurgeon and Shawn Dailing; and her siblings, Billy Ray Lightcap and Betty Jo Lightcap-Spurgeon.

She is survived by : her son Monte Spurgeon of Hasty; her grandchildren, Stormy, Patrick, Amy, Keith, Andrew and Glen; and her brothers, Clifford Lightcap and Richard Lightcap.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dorothy Spurgeon Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
