He is survived by: his wife Margarita Casias of Gypsum, CO; his stepchildren, Genieve Esparsen of Gypsum, CO, Jonathan Esparsen (Tammie) of Gypsum, CO and Carlos Esparsen (Bernadette) of Gypsum, CO; his parents-in-law, Richard and Natie Sanchez of Antonito, CO; his grandchildren, J. J., Natalie, Oakleigh, Samuel, Dominic, Olivia, RaeAnn, Julie and Matthew; his great grandchild Liliana; and his siblings, Geraldine Atencio (Louie) of Gypsum, CO, Lupita Trujillo (Mike) of Leadville, CO, Richard Medina of Gypsum, CO, Sammy Medina of Pinasco, NM., Larry Medina of Pinasco, NM., Rudy Medina of Pinasco, NM. and Meliquias Medina of Pinasco, NM.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
