It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Metcalf of Gunnison, Colorado, born in Ogden, Utah, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Metcalf and Hazel Metcalf (Evans); and his siblings, Kurt Metcalf (Charlotte) and Hazel Irene. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughters, Melanie Cyphers (Michael), Melissa Tarantino (Greg) and Elizabeth Ruthmansdorfer (Thomas); his siblings, Hugh Metcalf (Joanne), Melba Teague, Nancye Edmondson, Leslye Coleman-Swain (Larry), Lane Metcalf (Yvonne), Douglas Metcalf (Janet) and Greg Metcalf; his grandchildren, Kyra Green (Jake), Mariah Harbert (Matt), Ty Cyphers (Kelli), Mckenna Cyphers, Samantha Lester (Glen), Gage Tarantino, Denis Ruthmansdorfer and Aaron Ruthmansdorfer; and his great grandchild Blakely Harbert. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
