He is survived by: his father David Alvin Vanderhoofven; his wife Marilynn; his sister Beulah "Boots" Buchanan of Jacksonville; his sons, David Allan of Duenweg, Nathan of Aurora, Philip of Delta and Lanae; his grandchildren, Phlegon and Mabel; his son John of Belton; his grandchildren, Meghan, Brian, Kathleen, Erick, Johnathan and Angie; and his daughters, Eva Rose and Marion Lily.
