With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clyde E. Thompson of Greenwood Village, Colorado, born in Iola, Kansas, who passed away on May 13, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandmother Mosby Thompson (Bob Lacey); his parents, Clyde E. Thompson Sr. and Lucy Wilson Thompson; and his siblings, June Thompson Toland, Frank Wilson Thompson and Charlotte Thompson Ford.

He is survived by: his friends, Bob, Jane Lacy, Aubrey, Nancy Linville, Larry and Charlotte Barrett; his nephews, Richard Brand Thompson, John Robert Toland and Frank Wilson Thompson Jr. (Bucky); his sister Lucy Lee Thompson McDowell; his sons, Mark Robert Thompson (Barb) of Kansas City, MO, Scott Michael Thompson (Pat) and Todd Mosby Thompson (Mary) of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Richard James Thompson, Alyssa Eileen Thompson, Matthew James Thompson, Molly Elizabeth Platenak, Mark Carter Thompson, Luke Everett Thompson and Joshua Scott Thompson; his great grandchildren, Robyn Charlotte Thompson, Ophelia Ruth Thompson, Juniper Anne Platenak and Cole Everett Platenak; and his nieces and nephews, Josh Robert Mosby, Kathleen Helen Thompson, Clyde William Toland and Aimee McDowell Scovell.
