He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Weitzel and Lydia Weitzel (Heinze); his brother-in-law Ed Ganz; and his grandparents, Katherine Heinze of Windsor, John and Anna Weitzel of Fort Collins.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Weitzel (Carol) of Eaton and Barbara Ganz of Greeley; his aunt Betty Roberts of Aurora; and his close friend Querly.
