He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brown and Lillie Brown (Hansen); his daughter Karen Helus; and his siblings, Morris Brown, Robert Brown and Lucille Duell.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Brown of Greeley; his daughter Lisa Hoffman (Troy Hoffman) of Kersey; his grandchildren, Aaron "Pete" Helus, Jocelyn "Joey" Hatch (Kyle), Michael "Mickey" Hoffman (Jaymie Podtburg), Mikayla "Rosie" Payseur (Hunter) and Matthew "Jimmy" Hoffman (Madi Marsh); and his great grandchild Rozlyn Ann.
