He was predeceased by: his parents, George Loose and Julie "Lantos" Loose (Lantos); his wife Ella "Jo" Loos (Turner); his son Stanley Loose Jr.; his siblings, Steve Loose and Judy Collins; his granddaughter Bernice Leeann Korgan; and his close friend Audrey "Jo" Phillips.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Watson (Bob) of Greeley, Diana Fuller (Ron Miller) of Platteville, Susan Korgan (John) of Greeley, Cindy Loos of Denver and Carol Serna (Lee) of Windsor, Colorado. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, his 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
