It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Marie Coatman (Greeley, Colorado), born in Fairbury, Nebraska, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Joseph and LaVerne Genevieve Layton (Arnold); and her siblings, Don and Mary Layton. She is survived by: her husband Larry Coatman; her sons, Lonny Coatman (Mechelle Rathbun) of Greeley, Rick Coatman (Terry) of Greeley and Tim Coatman (Lori) of Greeley; her siblings, George Layton (Carol) of Fairbury, NE and Evelyn Kapke (Richard) of Fairbury, NE; and her sister-in-law Sharon Layton of Longmont. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
