He is survived by: his parents, John E Eckhardt and Katie Eckhardt (Steinmiller); his wife Elsie; his children, John (Trudy) and Linda (Ed Printz) of Platteville, Colorado; his grandchildren, Heidi Abrahamson (Jeff) of Loveland, Matt Printz (Kari) of Elm Creek, Heather Huntley (Jim) of Loveland and Ben Printz of Greeley, Colorado; his great grandchildren, Brodee Dodson, Emma Dodson, Nathan Abrahamson, Julia Abrahamson, Jameson Printz and Scarlett Printz; and his siblings-in-law, Dickie Riedel of Denver, Dorothy Mae Hobbs of Ft. Morgan, Esther Bernhardt of Ft. Morgan, Colorado, Harold Miller (Pat) of Denver and Leo August of Brush. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
