He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Hiner and Arlene Hiner (Dreibelbis); his daughter Lori Leathers; his granddaughter Courtney Gilliland; and his brothers, Bill and Bob Hiner.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; and his siblings, Loretta Scott, Jack Hiner and Sam Hiner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Peacock Family Chapel (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Bristol Hospice in Frederick, CO, or to the Lamar Christian Church, either directly or through the funeral home.
