He is survived by: his parents, Marlin Johnston and Violet Johnston (Setula); his son Matthew Ray McIIvaine; his sister Lori Sue; his niece Dallas Lee Bradford; his wife Sharla; his sons, Tanner Louis Toivo Johnston of Greeley, Robert Marlin Johnston and Joseph Ray Johnston of Eaton; his stepchildren, Crispen Riley and Eilish Riley of Ault; and his siblings, Brenda Bradford (Brad) of Evans, Christie Hundley of Evans, Lynne Johnston of Texas, John Johnston (Cathy) of Greeley and Scott Johnston of Ault. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles.
