With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matt J. Romero of Greeley, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Romero and Louise Romero. He is survived by: his son Lonnie Romero (Karla Masters); his granddaughter Kayla Romero; his great grandchild Mercy Romero; his siblings, Jayne Griego and Mike Romero; and his nieces and nephews, Lilly Griego, Katrina Romero, John Romero and Jesse Griego.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adamson Life Celebration Home (2000 47th Ave, Greeley, CO 80634). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (2222 23rd Ave, Greeley, CO 80634). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (3400 28th St, Greeley, CO 80634).
