He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rafael Velazco and Maria Contreras; his wife Vicenta Velazco; his children, Joel Jr., Jeremy, Levi and Jessica; his nephew Landen; his grandchildren, Adriel, Zaden, Asia and Dominic; his stepmother Gloria Velazco; and his siblings, Isavel Velazco, Amelia Velazco, Martha Hernandez, Leticia, Braulio, Carlos, Antonio Noelia, Daniel, Miriam Velazco of Mexicali Mexico, Pete, Jesse, Gloria, Emma, Angel Leon, Manuel, Rosalie Velazco, Martin Zarate of Greeley Colorado, Rafael Velazco of Texas and Maria Hernandez of Arizona.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Adamson Life Celebration Home (2000 47th Ave, Greeley, CO 80634). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Spanish Assembly of God (601 21st Ave, Greeley, CO 80631).
