He was predeceased by: his brother Victor Walter; and his son-in-law John Murphy. He is survived by: his daughters, Sue Murphy of Greeley and Janet Lewis (Jack) of Greeley; and his grandchildren, Cammi Hill, Noel Hill, Jr. of Greeley and Codie Allen. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
