He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Ralph Bean and Gladys Irene Bean (Post); his son Joseph; and his brother Vernon Harold Bean. He is survived by: his wife Carla Jean Long; his children, Tobi Evans, Ehrich Lloyd Bean, Geoffrey Neil Bean and Bryan Christopher Bean; and his sisters, Carol Ann Jacob of Ottawa, KS and Lois Elaine Wiechen of Harper, KS. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Don's name to a Charity of Donor's Choice.
