She was predeceased by: her grandmother Guadalupe Castillo. She is survived by: her children, Michelle, James (Ana), Kenny Cervantes (Stephanie), Andrea Gomez, Jessica Soria (Reuben) and Samantha Gomez (Arron); and her brother Manuel Gaona (Olga). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
