He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Charles James "C. J." Archibeque. He is survived by: his parents, Manuela Sigala Portillo and Reynaldo Portillo; and his siblings, Arnoldo Portillo (Shawna), Felipe Portillo, Lucas Portillo (Lia), Ermelinda Archibeque (C. J.), Gritelma Caton (Blu), Andrea Hudspeth (Anthony), Odilia Portillo, Elena Portillo (Angel), Lucrecia Portillo and Biatriz Peckler (John). He is also survived by numerous nephews; nieces and friends.
