He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Blacker and Fred Blacker; his brother Glenn; and his daughter Marion. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Kathe Velarde (Abel), Fred Blacker (John) and Jeff Blacker (Jessica); his grandchildren, Amy Pettis (Brian), Holly Tripi (Dante), Emily Broughton (Tanner), Brandon Blacker and Aubrey Blacker; and his great grandchildren, Rhyas, Baxley, Raina, Summit, Tucker and Charlie.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown's Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel (904 N 7th St, Grand Junction, CO 81501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado (2830 Riverside Pkwy, Grand Junction, CO 81501).
