We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2024, at the age of 22, Sophia Grace Araneda of Grand Junction, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sophia Grace had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Sophia Grace may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She is survived by: her parents, Erick Araneda and Karla Araneda (Harris) of Grand Junction; her grandmothers, Ellen Varhalla of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Maria Elena Faugier (Cesar) of Solis; her siblings, Khristian Araneda of Sherman Oaks, California, Jayme Stoermer of Grand Junction and Kassandra Araneda of Bristol, England; and her niece Nefret Bruckman of Grand Junction.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Martin Mortuary (550 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sophia's name to Mind Springs Health, 515 28 3/4 Road, Building A, Grand Junction, CO 81501, or at http://www.mindspringsfoundation.org.
