Roy E. Downey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy E. Downey (Grand Junction, Colorado), who passed away on November 1, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Downey and Alma Downey; his siblings, Ted, Harriet, Wilma and Barbara; and his daughter Brenda.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores White; his children, Linda Brackelsberg, Laverne Downey (Doris), Cindy Downey-Day (Mark) and Ken Downey (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Eric Downey (Michael Mattivi), Cory Brackelsberg, Mindy Brackelsberg, Josh Brackelsberg, LeeAnn Downey (Brian Wiley), Chantill Garn (Dan), Ben Downey (Kori) and Cassie Downey (Marshall Roscoe); his great grandchildren, Connor Murphy, Caleb Garn, EmaMarie Garn, Kennedy Downey and Constance Downey (CJ); and his brother Tom Downey (Sue). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
