He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett McGarvin and Grace McGarvin (Vontz); his sister Annetta Mae Leaverton; and his granddaughter Amanda Kay Burk. He is survived by: his wife Arlene McGarvin; his daughters, Janna Burk (Dennis) and Kristen Namminga (Will); his grandchildren, Samantha Burris (Jordan), Justin Burk (Caylah) and Grace Namminga; and his brother Bill McGarvin.
