He was predeceased by: his father Dick Smith. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Smith (Patti) of Grand Junction; his close friend Gary Braa; his wife Patti Svaldi (Grand Junction); his daughter Kristina Tirado (Abel); his grandson Jackson of Las Vegas; and his sisters, Julie (John Harper), Janet (Jeff Winger) and Jill (Paul Jordan).
