He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Charles Martin and Marguerite "Joyce" Martin; and his son Phillip Martin. He is survived by: his wife Marietta Martin (Eaton) of Grand Junction, CO; his children, Gregory Martin (Donna) of Grand Junction, CO, Aaron Martin (Natalia) of Grand Junction, CO, Ivan Martin of Grand Junction, CO, Andrea Meza (Cesar) of Bountiful, UT and Melania Rontino (Aviano) of Grand Junction, CO.; his stepsons, Steven and Michael Eckhardt; and his sisters, Mary Joy, Jeannie and Ann Pat. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
