In the vast expanse of eternity, Mariel Yvonne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. She was predeceased by: her parents, Verle Deniston and Martha Deniston (Townley); her siblings, Vieva, Lila and Elmer; and her grandson Alexx.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Speakman of Grand Junction; her children, Monty Speakman of Sands Springs, Ricky Speakman of Casper, Wyoming, Selena Crespin of Grand Junction and Lisa Kerr of Littleton, Colorado; and her brother Delroy Deniston of California. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grand Junction Memorial Gardens (2970 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81504). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM.
