She was predeceased by: her husband Marion Smyser; her parents, Harold Pond and Sophie Pond; her sisters, Maxine Heimbigner and Catherine Burns; and her grandson David Lavach.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry (Deni Ahnstedt) of Austin and Alvin (Carol Ahnstedt) of Loveland; her stepdaughter Gretchen (Dan Lavach) of Virginia City; and her sister Florence Simmons of Tillamook, Oregon.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
