Manuelita Sawyer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuelita Sawyer in Grand Junction, Colorado, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Romero and Eva Romero; her husband Jose Sawyer; her brothers, Frank, Larry and Willie; and her grandson Jimmy Jo.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Sawyer (Judith), Ramona Sawyer, John Sawyer (Sarah), Mary Miller (Guy), Dale Sawyer, Tony Sawyer (Adina), Arthur Sawyer, Manual Sawyer and Christopher Sawyer; and her siblings, Rita Arnett, Junior and Steve Romero. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (790 26 1/2 Rd, Grand Junction, CO 81506). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Josephs Hall.
