He was predeceased by: his parent Gregoria Diaz; and his siblings, Rafael Diaz, Maximino Diaz and Teresa Diaz. He is survived by: his children, Byron Diaz (Teresa Juarez) of Guatemala, Juan Carlos (Guadalupe Luna) of Guatemala, Brenda Diaz of Guatemala, Ingrid Viera of Guatemala and Kimberly Diaz (Daniel Meksin); and his stepdaughters, Olga Hernandez (Gerald Balerio), Jessica Marquez (Gerardo Marquez) and Janet Rodriguez (Fidel Ortiz). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 step grandchildren.
