He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Elizabeth Carter (Woods) and Glenmore Rust Carter. He is survived by: his wife Judy Heinrich Carter; his daughters, Cheri Sheffield (John), Wendy Smith (David) and Crystal Owens (Greg); his grandchildren, Dexter Smith, Carter Smith, Lexi Smith and Izzy Smith; and his brother Tom Carter (Janette).
