He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Kehler and Mildred Kehler (Helmick); his sisters, Doris, Clydena and EllaMae; and his daughter-in-law Lynn.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sister Joyce (Donald); and his children, Keith, Boyde, Kurt (Terri), Sheri (Lamar), Jennifer (Ray) and Kriss (Kim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Kent was inducted into the Hall of Fame in Boise Idaho for his contributions to the Women's Bowling Program, he was put in there by his "kids" in the bowling program that he taught.
