He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel Byrnes; his son John E Byrnes; and his grandson Zach Seay. He is survived by: his daughter Dyan Koepnick (Jeff); and his granddaughters, Allison McGill (Joe) and Sarah Sanna (Chris). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to HopeWest Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
