He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Yount and Hazel Yount (Wise); and his aunts and uncles, Audrey, Carl Baker, I (Marian Teague), Phyllis (Foster Barker), Tom (Lois Wise), Donald Wise, Jake (June Vaughn) and Goldie Yount.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sitton; his children, Dale Smith (Sherlyn), Terry Smith (Stacia), Allen Sitton (Mindy), Linda Chapin, Diane Sitton (Denny) and Robin Fritzlan (Dan); and his cousins, Jim and Linda Barker (family: Carolyn, Charlene Barker, Larry, Marian Barker, Tom, Vicky Glaser, Roger Stevens, Wayne Wise, Helmut, Carla Wise). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren.
