“I am saddened to hear of the loss of a great person, an astute businessman and incredibly talented drilling contractor. His interests and knowledge in mining and minerals environments were second to none, and he helped a great many young geologists along the way. I first met George at a cafe in Milan, NM, in 1974 when I first started wok for Anaconda. We worked on a variety of difficult mineral exploration projects for several years and his company was always first of our pick of contractors,”
