It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gay Davis Hammer (Grand Junction, Colorado), who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Goodpaster and Edna Goodpaster Sanders; her stepmother Ruth Goodpaster; and her brother Doug Goodpaster. She is survived by: her husband Jan Hammer; her children, Michael Davis (Julie) of Marysville, Washington and Linda Bowman (Don) of Grand Junction, Colorado; her stepchildren, Julie McCutcheon of Missouri City, Texas, Angela Montano of Westminster, California, Christopher Hammer (Jessica) of Boise, Idaho and Gregory Hammer (Li Hong Ping) of China; her grandchildren, Tia Norman of Missouri City, Texas, Timothy Davis (Amber) of Dracut, Massachusetts, Lisa Franco (Rudy) of Arlington, Washington, Jennifer Taylor (Nate) of Boise, Idaho, John Hammer of Boise, Idaho, Delaney Hammer of Boise, Idaho, Sidney Dietrich of Boise, Idaho, Beth Bowman of Grand Junction, Colorado and Hunter Montano of Westminster, California.; and her great grandchildren, John Norman II, Clara Ortega, Kennedy Bradford, Maya Franco, Ryan Franco, Gordon Davis, Gemma Davis and Patrick Hammer.
