Though Fern Kay may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her spouse Colonel Jerry Lee Walker; her daughter Kelly Lynn Walker Waldron; and her grandchildren, Christian Stephen and Ethan Leston Waldron.
