He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Gale and Martha Alice Talbot Gale; his wife Frances; his daughter Christine; and his brothers, Ronald, Arnell, Paul (Lyle) and Madalyn (Connie).
He is survived by: his children, Debra Johnson (Joe) of Gold Hill, Oregon, Tammy Wheeler (Ed Price) of Grand Junction, Colorado, James Gale of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Bonnie Huisjen (Tom) and Sherri Rosen-Wolfe (Micah) of Grand Junction, Colorado; his siblings, David Gale of Cedar City, Utah, Hal Gale of Cedar City, Utah, Steven Gale (Kathy) of Beaver, Utah and Annette (Jerry) of Washington, Utah; and his sisters-in-law, Gayle Gale of Milford, Utah, Karen Gale of Beaver and Vicki Gale of Elsinore. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
