She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Amling and Jeannine A. Amling; and her brother John "Butch" Amling. She is survived by: her son Jerrel D. Hanley (Quinita); her grandchildren, Nyasia, Jerrel Jr., Jaylynn and Qianna; and her siblings, Thomas M. Amling and Linda M. Sneath.
