He was predeceased by: his parents, Elward E. Osberg and Ernestine W. Osberg (Born); his wife Patricia Rose Scannell; his son Paul Osberg; his brother James; his sister-in-law Betty Osberg; his sister Elaine; and his brother-in-law Lee Suchy.

He is survived by: his children, William Osberg (Melody) of Elbow Lake and Leah Lyon (Jeffery) of Grand Junction; his grandchildren, Jason Lyon (Courtney), Christopher Osberg (Jo), Andria Earnshaw (Dan), Andrew Osberg and Allison Osberg; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Alex, Calvin, Kaylee and Korra.
