We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2024, at the age of 94, Donald Henry Acord in Granby, Colorado, born in Greeley, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Francis Acord; his wife Shirley Acord; his mother Rebecca Acord Sanchez (Dagle); his stepfather Pete Sanchez; his siblings, Gerald and Teddy "Sis"; and his brother-in-law Albert Cody.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Zupan (Steve) of Pueblo West, Polly Allison (Gary) of Granby, Mike Acord (Kim) of Florence, AZ, Pat Acord (Cathy) of Granby and Kelli Acord (Jon Skelly) of Sandy, OR; his grandchildren, Paul Ray (Tracey), Becky Allison, Gretchen Reynolds (Danny), Wendy Allison, Zach Acord (Mabon), Tami Vague (Jeff), Mary Scheihing (Daniel), Michael Acord, Erin Swietlicki, Samantha (Doug), Marc (Katie), Dominque (Dave), David (Suzanne) and Patrick (Rhonda); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Brendan, Brady, Layla, Charlee, Karmen, Daniel "Shug", Kodi, Henry, Allie, Harper, Oaklee, Maverick, Trinleigh, Afton, Delante, Jenna, Jerad, Arianna, Gianna, Jordan, Salim, Callie and Collins; his brothers, Butch and Duane Acord; his siblings-in-law, Doug Cody and Gen Baller (Jim); and his close friends, Rod and Bruce Hodson. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
